Ya-Ling J. Liou is an evidence-based chiropractic physician with more than three decades of clinical experience. Both books in The Everyday Pain Guide series distill not just a vast body of knowledge but also her collective experience as an adjunct faculty member at Bastyr University and, prior to that, while instructing massage therapy students in anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology. 

The thing that’s keeping you stuck in your pain cycle is something you don’t realize you’re doing because you’ve probably been doing it daily for years without pain.
Yes, it’s probably something you can’t completely avoid and that’s okay. But there is a smart way to work around it that is unique to you and I’ll help you find it.
Just because your body can’t do a simple daily task without that pain right now doesn’t mean it’s broken or defective.  It’s just asking for a reset and some simple modifications.
What you do about your pain right now can impact your entire trajectory through the next several decades of life.

How you fine tune your daily activities in response to your pain, can be as unique as your body, which is why the “quick fix” you found on Youtube doesn’t work or maybe even made things worse.
You can still find ways to maintain normal daily function while also heeding the advice your body is trying to give you.

Stay connected for three weeks of direct email support from me as you try things out in real life.

Most importantly, we’ll create space for you to share your experiences and learn from one another in a calm, quiet and soothing backyard oasis.

Session 1:

  • Share: your pain experience & your goals for this workshop
  • Explore: sleep positioning, sitting, standing, walking.
  • Experience: Release techniques from Fix the Fire Damage – Your go-to guide when pain first strikes, catered to your specific needs.

Session 2:

  • Share: discoveries from implementing tools covered in Session 1 (including questions and clarifications)
  • Explore: More Release strategies including those from Body Chemistry & Stress Biology sections of the book
  • Experience: Retrain and / or Reinforce strategies
